The largest known Trumpeter swan attained a length of 6’ 0”, wingspan of 10’ 2”, and a weight of 38lbs. These massive birds can migrate over 3000 miles every year. This photograph displays the Trumpeter sitting calmly in one of Alaska’s 3 million lakes, in front of its vast natural habitat.
