Camping along the Denali Highway offered many extraordinary views. Driving on the gravel highway for hours in between the Talkeetna and Alaska mountain ranges allowed me to gather my thoughts for composing these great mountains into a single frame. After spotting this section of the Alaska range, I knew it was time to set up camp for the night. As I mounted my Digital Fujifilm camera with an adapted vintage film camera lens that came off my father’s childhood camera, I was sure of the image being made.
